About Elizabeth
Howdy, I’m Elizabeth! Watching my five kids grow into their unique individual personalities and interests has been one of my greatest joys as a parent. Three of my five kids have now graduated high school and I wish that I had captured more moments in between.
My love for studio portraits started in my years of school photography. After five years of serving kids of all ages and stages, from Houston to Austin to Bryan / College Station, I am excited to offer a more intentional studio approach to children and families, uncovering personalities and showcasing the beauty of families, siblings, and children of all ages.

Moms are always behind the lens. We are at the soccer games, the dance competitions, the birthday parties. We are caring for the details of ordinary life in the most extraordinary way.
And sometimes we forget that getting in the frame is important. It teaches your kids a wonderful lesson — you are worth it.

Studio sessions offer consistency that you often cannot get outdoors. It produces a look that is timeless and elegant, and studio photos can look beautiful in a home. You will also not have to deal with the heat, wind, or Texas fire ants. See this article for more.

First, you should consider how you feel in an outfit. If you are comfortable, it will show in your expressions. A good piece of advice is to wear neutrals with no large patterns or graphics. Neutrals photograph well in studio and give your photos that timeless look that probably drew you to studio photography in the first place.

This varies depending on how many people, if any outfit changes are needed, and whether young children are happy to be there, or if they need a little coaxing. I am very fast at getting the shots that I want at every session, and I will get the in between moments if your littles are restless.

This happens, and I can assure you that I have worked with thousands of children of all ages and I relate to them very well. In the rare instance that a child is just not having it at all, I do allow one “bad day rain check” where you can return to the studio and try again. For young children especially, just make sure that they are fed and well rested before you attempt a photography session.

Hair and makeup are not included in the cost of the session, but I am happy to connect you with some of my preferred vendors.

All ages are best! You will want to remember the chubby cheeks, the lost tooth, the middle school years, the high school years, and everything in between!

Unfortunately, I cannot accommodate pets in the studio, but I encourage you to book an outdoor family session and bring your pup!
