The house is likely a little quieter this week. Most of the students in College Station have started school by now and as parents, we probably spent the last month…

• Buying the supplies, clothes, and shoes

• Getting the teeth cleaned and braces tightened

• Attending all of the parent meetings and Meet the Teachers

• Filling out all of the paperwork, updating the medications, getting the sports physicals

I am tired. It’s been a whirlwind getting ready for this school year and while there is a bit of quiet, it won’t be long before the Fall sports, concerts, and PTO meetings begin.

There is rest in routine.
